We joined forces with Right Up Our Street and Off The Shelf for a project focused on the power of words, shining a spotlight on Doncaster. Our goal was simple: to unite writers of all ages in crafting a meaningful and inspiring poem that resonated with our community. As the project unfolded, we made sure to spread the message of our poem throughout the city, leveraging the support of our extensive GSD network.
To wrap up the project in style, we organized a special event showcasing local talent, including spoken word artists and singers, culminating in a performance of our collaborative poem. Additionally, we undertook a concerted effort to bring the essence of our poem to life through various materials such as quotes on beer mats, t-shirts, cards, and QR codes. These items were distributed across the city and among attendees of our workshops and the event, serving as tangible reminders of our shared creative journey.
